For the past seven years, my wife and I have been deep in the jerky world, running the top beef jerky subscription box out there. We've tasted hundreds of flavors and types of craft beef jerky, so we know exactly what makes the best jerky—perfect texture, mouthwatering flavors, and that something special you can't quite put your finger on.
We absolutely love Northern Michigan and take every chance we get to head up north. The beauty, the adventure, the flavors—it all inspires us. So, we decided to create our own brand that connects our passion for premium craft beef jerky with our favorite place. We source our ingredients directly from the north to create those bold flavors that remind us of our trips up north.
Rogue Jerky Co. is a tribute to our hometown, Rockford, MI, right by the Rogue River. We've poured years into perfecting our flavors, going through endless revisions until each one was just right. Our Cherry Chipotle, with cherry juice from Traverse City, is just one example of how we bring the taste of the North to our jerky.
